International trade

(TPP or TPPA).

A proposal to facilitate free trade between 12 Pacific Rim countries:

Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States and Vietnam.


Following the withdrawal of the United States, the other 11 countries proceeded with a modified form of the partnership, as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
