Green finance - Green Loan Principles and Green Bond Principles.
The difference between a borrower's green assets and its green debt.
Very comfortable
- "The difference between our green asset level and our green debt is very substantial.
- We describe this as our green buffer and it is about £1bn.
- This gives us a lot of comfort that whatever we do on the green debt side of the equation, it will always be less than our green assets."
- Adam Richford FCA FCT, Group Treasurer, Renewi, The Treasurer, August 2018, p18.
