Self management and accountability - knowledge - learning and development - cognition.

Metacognitive skills include understanding our own thought processes, habits and emotions, and the ability to manage them.


Metacognitive skills are enormously important for learning and development.

On a simple level, they would include scheduling our study times realistically and sticking to our schedule.
