A Long Term Asset Fund is an investment vehicle authorised by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Long Term Asset Funds can invest in a wide range of assets, including longer term and less liquid assets such as venture capital, private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure.

They are designed to be suitable for investors that can include retail investors.


The Long Term Asset Fund category of authorised investment vehicle was introduced in 2021.
