1. Professional bodies.
To achieve membership of a professional body, usually through a combination of passing assessments, completing a course of training or education, and practical experience.
2. Eligibility.
To attain - or to already have - sufficient of the criteria which must be satisfied to be eligible for a position, or for particular treatment, for example in tax, financial reporting or other fields.
3. Reporting - permissions.
To place limitations or conditions on an official statement or permission.
For example, in a qualified audit report.
