1. Financial promotions - risks - wording.

Risk related information that must be prominently displayed in promotional material for financial products for retail customers.

Examples include:

• "Your capital is at risk & your losses may exceed your deposits."
• "Your vehicle may be at risk of repossession if you fail to repay your [vehicle] loan."

2. Credit ratings - other contexts.

Information - prominently displayed - about the reliability of information, risks, or any other matters relevant to a reader.

For example, the suffix "pi" is added to public information credit ratings, as a health warning to indicate that they are based on public information only.

3. Treasury - risk management.

Any warning about a matter relevant to a reader or user.

For example, a warning to risk management professionals not to misuse the term "black swan".

4. Origins - physical health - wellbeing.

The term Health Warning originated from the risk notices displayed by law on tobacco products, and later on other products such as alcoholic drinks.
